What a tragedy. Marco sadly, was killed in Malaysia two weeks ago. The flamboyant Italian genius was doing his usual 'do or die' mission. he lost his front end and Valentino and Colin unintentionally ran him over. God bless them also.
MotoGP fans had been watching Marco closely. Despite many previous and gutsy DNF's, he was looking good as a 2012 contender.
RIP Marco - just 24 years old and what a star. He had balls.

Yep, very young, way to young, what age did he start his career btw?
He competed in the Road Racing World Championship for 10 years from 2002 to 2011. He started in the 125cc class before moving up to the 250cc class in 2006. He won the 250cc World Championship with Gilera in 2008. After four years in the intermediate class, he stepped up to the MotoGP class with the Honda Gresini Team.
