Many F1 fans are very concerned that the change in televised rights for this motorsport could potentially threaten the viewers' support for F1 in Britain. Formula 1 will be shown half on BBC and half on Sky from 2012. Putting half of these races behind a Sky paywall will significantly reduce audiences.

Formula 1 signed the Concorde agreement which specifically states that viewing should be "free to air where possible". The UK has great coverage already by the BBC, which shows it is possible. This petition is to show the support of F1 in the UK and keep it free to air.

If you haven't already signed this petition, please spare a few minutes of your precious time to sign it here:
http://epetitions.di...uk/petitions/57

If the petition reaches 100,000 signatures then it could be debated in the House of Commons and force the politicians, broadcasters and Bernie Ecclestone himself to take notice and reconsider the decision!

Thank you.

Since when did Ecclestone ever consider the British F1 fan in any decisions he chooses to make, they are based solely on money!!!
